Laundry without the Chemicals {Crystal Wash Review}

Finding chemical free laundry options isn’t as easy as it seems. Sorting through ingredients (even ingredients used for making detergents at home) can be a daunting task. Finding a laundry solution that is chemical free and extremely easy and convenient, too, seems like a dream come true for busy moms like myself!

Crystal Wash

Disclosure: I received complimentary product to facilitate my Crystal Wash review. Regardless, all opinions are my own.

Crystal Wash is laundry without detergents. It offers 1000 loads of clean laundry not only without detergents, but also without dyes, chemicals, or perfumes. It uses the power of Bio Ceramics from the earth, which naturally clean your clothes as effectively as laundry detergent. It is not only better for your family, health and skin, but it’s better for the environment as well! It’s an amazing money saver, too! 1000 loads of laundry without going through detergent! Can you imagine? I know I was excited at the possibility of all the savings!

What I really love is that Crystal Wash makes it so easy! You simply throw them in the washer and that’s that! It’s kind of a “set it and forget it” kind of thing. Once they’re in the washer, you can just keep putting clothes in and push start – no more pouring detergent! I love it! Plus it contains effective antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties.

Crystal Wash Review

I have been using Crystal Wash for a few weeks, and I have definitely been impressed. Our clothes come out clean. They don’t have any particular scent, but they do just smell fresh and clean. It has really been refreshing! Of course, I love that I can just throw a new load in, and hit “start,” and that’s it! It saves me the time of measuring and pouring detergent! I do a lot of laundry, so this is a big deal! I definitely appreciate Crystal Wash – it saves time, money, and it’s good for us and the environment! To refresh them, simply put them in the sun for an afternoon!

    Being that of what most consider disabled; a prize like getting one of these would mean the world! As when I put in the load, and hit “start,” I often overlook putting in the right amount of detergent and / or stain remover. Now its simple as can be and that’s saves me the time I can put towards other things needing to get done!

    This is very interesting. I have never heard of it before. I will have to do some research on bio ceramics to see how safe both for my family and the environment before I would want to try it.

    I would love to get a chance to try this. I’ve been making my own detergent for several years and lately I feel like it isn’t cleaning as well as it could.

  8. Thanks for the review! I keep hearing about these crystal balls but haven’t read a review from someone who has used them. I’m glad to hear you’ve had success from them. How well do they get out stains?

    • I have found it’s mixed. With dark stains like blood from our son’s nose bleeds I found I had to use an extra boost to get the stain out, but every day stains like dirt, food spills, etc. come out with no problems.

    I have never heard of this but I would love to try it! Anything to better the household for my family!

  23. Duncan C says:

    I would be wary of these until some actual research has been done. The claim that bio-ceramics could produce hydrogen peroxide would practically be a chemical industrial revolution and simply isn’t based in any sort of reality. Additionally, if the pH of the water was changed significantly enough to allow for the claims this company makes, it would significantly damage the clothing and dyes within it.

    In fact, most studies of similar products have found them to be equally or *less* effective than washing without any detergent at all.

    Simply put, these do not work, and until they have been proven to do so, I would personally suggest avoiding wasting money on them.

  24. Thanks again for writing this review! Heard so much about them, definitely going to be checking them out! :)

    Thank you so much for the review. I’ve never heard of this product either. Yes I’d like to try these myself. We have skin sensitivies as well and would like to save money on detergent. I’m just very skeptical about using a non detergent product.
